Deluxe Lead Rope / Leash Made From Alpaca, 8 Foot Long, 1 Inch Thick
I made this leash / lead rope from 70% alpaca / 30% Merino wool. It is 8 1/2 feet long with fastener and fringes. It is 8 feet long from knot to fastener base. This alpaca leash / lead rope weighs 14.3 ounces. The thickness is 1 inch. The fastener is nickel plated of the quick snap swivel type.
This is not your average lead rope. Being made of super soft alpaca combined with soft merino truly makes for a one of a kind lead rope to walk your dog, horse, alpaca, llama, or just about any animal.
Popular mass produced ropes are often made from thermal plastic nylon also called paracord or parachute cord. While plastic based ropes may do the job and be cheap to buy, natural ropes have qualities that cannot be duplicated. This rope contains the DNA of real animals that produce sustainable fibers that are easy on the environment. There will never be a rope exactly like this one which I think makes it extra special. I personally would rather have soft natural fibers against my skin and on my animal than artificial products.
The price of this rope is going to be higher than a thermal plastic rope because of the amount of luxury fibers that went into it, and the time that it took to handmake it.
If you are looking for something extra special to walk your animal, I hope you might consider this handmade alpaca rope.
